Page 6 – roof

1 Nightwing: “So, speaking of happier things, how are things going with Julie Madison?”
1 Batman: “Still awkward.  She’s still not sure she can get past my secrets.”
2 Nightwing: “Hey, you two should double date with me and Helena sometime.”
2 Batman: “Julie’s pretty self-conscious, and was worried that I was carrying on with Karen Starr during the whole Circe episode.  I don’t want to introduce some other woman that she would feel like she might be competing with.”
3 Nightwing: “This competition thing is such a crock of shit.  All women have their own unique charms.”
3 Batman: “That’s not how she sees it.  And I can’t exactly explain to her why the two of us were really out of contact for so long.”
4 Nightwing: “Yeah, I imagine the conversation where you tell someone that you got transformed into a pig would be a pretty rough ride.  Especially the part where you were rutting like swine.  Say, are Karen’s babies, you know, actually yours?”
5 Batman: “No!  Well, at least I don’t think so.  I hope not.”
5 Nightwing: “But they could be?  Wow, that makes the conversation with Julie even more awkward.”
6 Batman: “Karen was there a lot longer than me, and there were plenty of ordinary pigs there.  Statistically, it’s unlikely, but the experience was so surreal and instinct-driven that it’s hard to be sure what we did, exactly.”
